Brian Roper (born 15 December 1949〔(Birthdays. ) The Independent, 14 December 1996.〕〔(December 2008 University News ), London Metropolitan University〕) is a British economist and former vice-chancellor of London Metropolitan University. ==Career== Roper was born and raised in southeast London, and studied economics at the University of Wales.
